What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ansible Platform Engineer *W2 Only position at Matlen Silver?
Job Title: Ansible Platform Engineer *USC or GC only*
Duration: 18-24 months
Location: Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ
Required Pay Scale: 70-73
Must have Ansible Automation Platform experience or AAP
day to day- administer Ansible Automation Platform
not just writing playbooks, but administering
Work is being done on VM's (virtual machines) now, but eventually will move to Openshift platform
postgres- experience using on backend of things
linux or middleware admin turned Ansible would be a good fit
Design or some system architecture experience
Can design new features in Ansible Automation Platform
Experience deploying aap from scratch- any design exp or can start from scratch
Python/YAML is key in scripting- take requirements and expected outcomes and produce Python scripts
terraform is not being used but would use in future
- bitbucket-everything automated and stored in bitbucket
