Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage warmly with customers, ensuring a positive and personalized experience from order to pickup
- Operate POS systems (Toast) efficiently for transactions, sales, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, food prep stations, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure top-quality service
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods, and thrive in a lively café environment
- Must be available on weekends (ideally Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays).
