Marketing Communications Project Manager

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

Location: Remote with ability to come into Portland office on occasion for select meetings.

W2 Contract

Overview

The Marketing Communications Project Manager will oversee the planning, management, and delivery of marketing and communications projects from concept through completion. This role partners both externally with vendors and internally with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals, brand standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing and brand communications teams to implement communication strategies, projects, and initiatives aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Act as a liaison between business units, ensuring alignment between business needs and brand standards.
• Manage projects end-to-end, delivering on time, within budget, and in alignment with goals.
• Collaborate with strategists, marketing managers, designers, writers, digital teams, and leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure deliverables meet quality and brand expectations.
• Lead project status meetings and maintain updated schedules.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing based on business needs.
• Execute brand promotion activations and support performance measurement.
• Contribute to creative ideation and brainstorming efforts.
• Maintain detailed timelines, project plans, and budget tracking for deliverables and milestones.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations, including clear communication of needs across teams.
• Ensure high attention to detail and uphold brand integrity, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Understanding of brand alignment and consistency across channels.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
  
  

Working Conditions

Office or remote work environment requiring extended computer use, frequent virtual meetings, and multitasking across systems. Reliable high-speed internet required. Must be comfortable appearing on camera for meetings and trainings.

Frequent interaction with internal teams across departments and external vendors or stakeholders.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $35-$40 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
