Growth Specialist

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role located in Los Angeles, California. Candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone are preferred.

Summary

Our client is seeking a Growth Specialist to support the operational execution of lifecycle marketing programs across multiple customer touchpoints. This role serves as the subject matter expert for CRM operations, marketing automation, audience management, and email/SMS campaign execution, ensuring a seamless and data-driven customer experience while driving engagement, retention, and growth.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 5–8 years of experience in CRM Operations, Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Automation, or Growth Marketing
• Passion for customer engagement and lifecycle marketing with a strong foundation in CRM strategy and execution
• Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo and marketing automation platforms
• Proficient in email and SMS marketing, audience segmentation, personalization, campaign testing, and performance optimization
• Familiar with CRM integrations, customer data management, deliverability best practices, and marketing technology ecosystems
• Skilled in collaborating with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and operational accuracy
• Analytical and process-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and scalable growth
  
  

Job Description

In this role, you will own the operational execution and optimization of lifecycle marketing programs across email and SMS channels. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Creative, and Operations to deliver targeted customer communications and scalable engagement strategies.

This includes building and managing automated lifecycle journeys, executing campaigns from intake through deployment, creating audience segments, personalizing messaging, conducting quality assurance reviews, and monitoring campaign performance. You will also manage deployment calendars, maintain customer data integrity, oversee preference management and suppression logic, and support CRM platform enhancements and integrations.

Additionally, you will establish operational best practices, document scalable processes, execute testing strategies, and continuously evaluate campaign performance to improve engagement, conversion, and customer experience outcomes.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Background in lifecycle marketing, CRM operations, growth marketing, marketing automation, or customer engagement programs
• Experience working with customer data platforms, marketing technology tools, and cross-functional product and engineering teams preferred
  
  

Additional Requirements

• This opportunity is remote within the United States, with preference for candidates working in the Pacific Time Zone
• The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $95.50-99.50 per hour
