EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
- Assist in reconciling accounts.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Recording journal entries, investment account recon, personal property return preparation.
- Internal lease and note preparation, real estate lease tracking, some bookkeeping and administrative duties.
- Collect and help prepare workpapers for income tax returns for review and maintain records.
- Assist on projects for the tax and accounting departments as needed.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, QuickBooks experience preferred. 2-4 years of experience preferred, workpaper collection and preparation experience preferred; highly developed verbal and written communications; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, merchandise and safety procedures; must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally.
