EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR CORPORATE MERCHANDISER:
- Ensure items are tagged, priced correctly, and displayed accurately.
- Coordinate trucks scheduled with delivery appointments.
- Enter new product information into the Storis system.
- Place purchase orders for products based on sales projections.
- Work with employees across all departments.
- Assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service.
- Work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Answer sales questions about products, prices, and availability.
- Work with customer service to resolve warranty issues.
- Recommend advertising opportunities based on inventory levels.
- Inspect damaged merchandise and make informed decisions on where to place merchandise.
- Attend weekly walk through to determine sales volume of merchandise on the floor.
- Work closely with factory representatives to discuss sales.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts.
- Help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
- Use excellent customer relations.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR CORPORATE MERCHANDISER: Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment.
