EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing; count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift; maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean; file the daily invoices; call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear; call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit); copy and match all finance approvals; process special orders and handwritten tickets; take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments. Perform any other duties as directed by management.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; computer experience required; basic mathematical skills required; attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal and external customers. Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.
