Role Description
The Litigation Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys during all phases of litigation. Responsibilities include Summarizing and subpoenaing medical records while tracking all related documentation. Ensuring timely retrieval of requested medical records. Assisting with expert witnesses by ensuring documents reach retained experts. Review and analyze discovery materials, identifying necessary subpoenas for medical and employment records. Perform medical record analysis and provide summaries. Communicate pertinent issues to attorneys as they arise. Manage calendaring and deadlines effectively. Meet billable requirement of 140 hours per month.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sacramento, CA.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review
- Strong skills in Medical Record Review.
- Experience in drafting Pleadings and Discovery
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience is a plus
