This is a full-time, on-site role for a Litigation Paralegal located in Sacramento, CA. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all stages of the litigation process, including case preparation, legal research, writing, and discovery. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting investigations, managing case files, coordinating schedules, and corresponding with clients and other parties. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research, legal writing, and familiarity with litigation procedures
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience with drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Effective communication skills, including client correspondence and collaboration with attorneys
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in legal software and office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred
- Experience in personal injury, employment law, or elder abuse cases is a plus
