Special Areas Teacher/ Intervention

Mater Academy Preparatory is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Special Areas Teacher to provide instruction in Physical Education, Art, and Music for our students. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching all three disciplines and a passion for fostering creativity, physical activity, and artistic expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging lessons in Physical Education, Art, and Music
• Develop activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical fitness
• Provide a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to encourage growth
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the student learning experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Physical Education, Art, Music, or a related field
• Experience teaching Physical Education, Art, and Music to elementary or middle school students
• Certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for working with students and promoting their development in the arts and physical activities

Hours:

• 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM (part-time, hourly position)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
