Role Overview:The Qualified Supervising Technician (QST) provides clinical supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA therapists. This position ensures that treatment plans developed by the BCBA are implemented with fidelity, and that technicians receive the guidance and feedback needed to grow and deliver effective services.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct supervision and support to RBTs and behavior technicians in accordance with BACB and company guidelines
Oversee program implementation and ensure adherence to behavior plans
Model and teach behavior analytic techniques and best practices
Conduct skills training and competency checks with staff
Collect and review data to monitor client progress and treatment fidelity
Collaborate with BCBAs to make data-driven treatment modifications
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required
Assist in staff onboarding and training as needed
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field (preferred)
Certification as a Qualified Supervising Technician (QST) in the state of Michigan
Minimum of 1 year experience working in the field of ABA
Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles
Experience providing staff supervision or training
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for working with children and making a positive impact
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites (if applicable)
