Farmer's Market Sales Associate

MatchBox Candle Co. is looking for a reliable, outgoing, and self-motivated Farmers Market & Events Representative to run our booths at farmers markets and other popular events across Colorado’s front range and mountain towns.

This is not your typical retail job. You’ll be the face of MatchBox in some of the busiest and most thriving markets in the state—interacting with customers, driving sales, and creating a great experience that reflects our brand.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and break down our booth at markets and events
• Sell candles and other related products in a confident, engaging way
• Be outgoing and informational about our products
• Create a welcoming, high-energy customer experience
• Handle transactions (POS cash) accurately
• Keep the booth clean, stocked, and visually on-brand
• Manage inventory for each event
• Represent MatchBox professionally at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service or sales experience preferred
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable talking to strangers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
• Reliable transportation (this role requires travel between markets and events)
• Must be able to stand for the full length of your shift.
• Physically able to lift tents, tables, and product (40–50 lbs)
• Punctual and dependable—markets run rain or shine, and we show up ready
• Strong English communication skills.

Commission Structure
In addition to hourly pay, this role includes a performance-based commission designed to reward strong sales:

• Hit daily sales target → earn bonus commission
• Exceed target → unlock higher commission tier
• Top performers consistently earn additional income each market

This role is ideal for someone who wants a mix of independence, sales, and being part of a growing brand—without being stuck inside all day.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
