Farmer's Market Sales Rep

As a market representative, you will be responsible for managing your booth, providing excellent customer service, and creating an inviting atmosphere that highlights the quality and uniqueness of our offerings. Duties

• Set up and break down your market booth daily, ensuring an attractive and organized presentation of products
• Engage with customers through friendly communication, product demos, and sharing the story behind your offerings
• Collect sales data and customer feedback to inform future product selections and marketing strategies
• Manage sales transactions accurately using provided point-of-sale systems or cash handling procedures
• Promote our products via social media management to attract new customers and increase market visibility
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at your booth while adhering to health regulations and market policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
• Knowledge of branding, marketing, and social media management to enhance product visibility
• Comfortable with public speaking and product education to customers about offerings
• Passion for local food, sustainability, or community engagement is preferred

Candidates must have reliable transportation, be able to pick up and drop off at our location on Denver or Parker, able to lift 40 pounds and be independent. We pay for all hours of the market plus one extra hour for setup/teardown, $20 weekly free product, 10% commission on all sales and tips allowed. We have a list of markets needing staffed or flex positions where you drop in where needed according to your availability.
