As the Tool Crib Specialist at MasterSpas, you’ll be the person who helps prevent them. You’ll manage the tools, equipment, and supplies our production teams rely on every day—making sure they’re available, accounted for, organized, and ready to work when our employees need them.

You’ll work closely with Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production Leads, and Supervisors to figure out what’s needed and keep things moving.

Someone who notices when inventory is getting low.
Someone who doesn’t shrug when a tool disappears.
Someone who can look at a piece of equipment that isn’t working and think:
“Let me take a look.”
You’ll Likely Be Successful If You
This is a hands-on role where being organized has a direct impact on an entire manufacturing operation.
You’ll get to work across Production, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Warehouse Operations while developing knowledge of the tools and equipment used throughout our facility. You’ll have ownership of an area where you can create better organization, stronger accountability, and smarter inventory practices—not simply hand out tools.
The position is full-time and hourly, with a regular Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule. Some 4:00 a.m. starts will be required, and overtime is possible/probable depending on production needs. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with additional compensation based on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.

Compensation
$17.00-$19.00/hr. In situations where the candidate comes in with skills that exceed what we are looking for, they have the opportunity to earn significantly more once those skills are confirmed.

- Manage the daily distribution and return of production tools and equipment.
- Maintain and organize department tool carts.
- Verify equipment makes its way back at the end of each shift.
- Keep tools organized, available, and in good working condition.
- Remove damaged or unsafe equipment from service.
- Maintain accountability for company-owned tools and report concerns involving damage, misuse, loss, or theft.
Stay Ahead Of What Production Needs

- Monitor inventory levels for tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Identify replenishment needs before shortages affect production.
- Prepare and submit orders to approved vendors.
- Receive and organize incoming supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Use Excel, Outlook, Word, and other systems to keep everything organized and accounted for.

- Troubleshoot pneumatic tools, electric tools, torque limiters, and other production equipment.
- Perform minor repairs within the scope of the position.
- Use schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical documentation to diagnose problems.
- Identify equipment that needs additional maintenance and get it to the right people.
- Help extend the life of company equipment by making sure tools are maintained, stored, and handled correctly.

- Have mechanical aptitude and enjoy troubleshooting equipment.
- Have experience repairing small pneumatic or electric tools—or are comfortable learning.
- Can read schematics, drawings, or equipment manuals.
- Are comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Can manage several priorities without losing track of the details.
- Communicate well with production employees, supervisors, Maintenance, Purchasing, and other teams.
- Have experience with Lean/5S principles, forklift operation, manlifts, bobcats, or snowplows—helpful, but not required.
