Landscape Enhancement Manager

At MasterScapes, we cultivate beauty by delighting our clients, developing our people, and defining the standard of landscaping as a profession. We are building a Landscape Enhancement Manager role for someone who can lead from the front, solve problems in the field, and help establish a new department with a high-performance culture.

This role is for a versatile landscaping professional who can handle a wide variety of enhancement work, from seasonal color and mulch refreshes to clean-ups and specialty property improvement projects. The Landscape Enhancement Manager will be a true player-coach, leading a crew while working alongside them, maintaining a strong pace, and making sound decisions in the field. This person must be highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently without constant oversight.

This position will work with both commercial and residential clients and requires a high level of professionalism and client interaction. Because this is a new department for MasterScapes, this role also carries the responsibility of helping shape the team’s identity and culture. The standard should be high. This group should become known inside the company as a small, elite team that can step into tough situations, handle a wide range of work, and deliver strong results without excuses.

  • Execute a wide range of work including seasonal color, mulch refreshes, seasonal clean-ups, planting, and other landscape improvement projects
  • Keep jobs moving on time and on budget without sacrificing quality
  • Motivate the crew daily and help build a culture of pride, discipline, versatility, and high expectations
  • Communicate clearly with residential and commercial clients throughout the job
  • Make sound decisions in the field and solve problems as conditions change
  • Support landscape project efforts in Abilene, DFW, and Wichita Falls, including overnight travel of about 4 nights per month
  • Help build a new department that top performers want to be part of

Who You Are

  • You have strong hands-on experience in landscaping and can perform a wide variety of enhancement work at a high level
  • You are a leader who can motivate others, set the pace, and maintain high standards
  • You are highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • You are organized, driven, and committed to completing work on time and on budget
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and can make good decisions on the fly
  • You are comfortable working directly with clients and representing MasterScapes professionally

Why This Role Matters

This role will help MasterScapes expand its ability to serve clients with responsive, high-quality enhancement work across both residential and commercial properties. It is also a key leadership role in building a new department the right way from the start. The right person will not only complete work well, but will also help define what this team becomes.
