Masters Plastic Surgery is actively seeking out a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our family in our upscale state of the art plastic surgery center in Nichols Hills Oklahoma
This position is a Monday Tuesday Position.
A bit about the position:
Handles instruments, supplies, assisting in circulating and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Monitors conditions in the operating room and constantly assesses the needs of the patient and surgical team.
What you can expect in the role:
Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
Set up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedure.
Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.
Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room.
Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
Having Plastic Surgery Experience is highly preferred.
Plastic surgery in a private office setting is a strong plus.
Must have an active Surgical Technologist Certification.
First assist experience preferred.
Confident and skilled.
Knowledge in sterilization and processing.
At leas 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred.
Pay: $ $33.00 per hour
