Shadfar Facial Plastic Surgery. At Shadfar Facial Plastic Surgery (SFPS), patient care is top priority. Our team is involved in every aspect of their patients’ care and provide education and compassion to patients and their families. We are looking for a PSR (Patient Services Representative) and Front Desk Manager to assist in a clinic office setting for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery patients. We need someone who is professional, considerate and reliable. We need someone with experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, and/or ear nose and throat clinic experience. We prefer Oklahoma in state candidates ONLY given the need for starting as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Greets, instructs, directs and schedules patients and visitors. Performs a variety of clerical duties for physicians and clinic staff.
- Retrieves insurance and patient information, provides forms for tests or interoffice communications and secures signatures as needed.
- Enters new and established patient information into the computer.
- Answers incoming calls, sets appointments for patients, dispatches messages and/or calls for all employees.
- Monitors and revises physician schedules as appropriate.
- Performs patient care activities within the scope of data entry/processing and patient account functions.
- Establishes payment plans and collection of payments.
- Prioritizing patient confidentiality
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and postoperative instructions
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and answering patient inquiries. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who excels at multitasking and works effectively with both our patients and our clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Qualifications/Skills:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Customer Service: A proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a patient, empathetic, and friendly demeanor.
- Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, practice management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Medical Terminology: A working knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively in a team environment and build positive relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and information management.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve patient issues and concerns effectively.
- Confidentiality: A thorough understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
Education:
- Minimum: Associates or College Degree is required.
- Preferred: An Associate's or Undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field, such as medical assisting or health information technology, is often preferred and can be a strong asset.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred. Hospital or outpatient surgery experience also welcome.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
