Overview
Mastercraft Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, physical structures, and other facility items (plumbing, electrical, ductwork, buildings, etc.). Responsibilities include:
· Perform preventative maintenance to existing pieces of equipment, including but not limited to:
· Equipment repair as needed including electronic components, motor replacement, dust collection, electrical and pneumatic connections, etc.
· Installation/Removal of equipment
· Fabrication/Repair of facility/items including plumbing, electrical, structural
· Maintenance/Housekeeping including facility/area cleanliness
· Maintain safe working environment
· Perform other duties as assigned
All applicants must have a valid driver's license and ability to maintain it. At times there is a need to travel up to 10% of the scheduled work time.
Education/Experience:
· Minimum: Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
· Preferred: 3 to 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge/Skills:
· Ability to read, interpret, and apply written procedures and specifications
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to work independently or on a team
· Strong math skills
· Ability to read equipment schematics
· Good decision making skills related to work prioritization
