Together, SSO protects the trust and integrity of the global payments and digital commerce ecosystem by preventing fraud, verifying identity, managing risk, and strengthening cyber resilience. Embedded at the core of the Mastercard network, the team leverages global data, advanced analytics, and AI to deliver proactive, real time security while enabling seamless digital experiences at scale.
The Vice President, Chief of Staff to the SSO Business Leader serves as a trusted advisor, strategic integrator, and execution leader. This role partners directly with the SSO Business Leader and leadership team to translate strategy into action, ensure operational rigor, and enable strong enterprise alignment and outcomes. Through broad exposure to strategy, operations, executive decision making, and cross enterprise engagement, this role acts as a critical driver of clarity, focus, and delivery across the organization.

Role
- Support the Executive Vice President, Security Solutions in execution of priorities and implementation of operational objectives and drive coordination across the Services businesses.
- Drive execution of the SSO leader’s priorities, ensuring coordinated delivery across teams, workstreams, and enterprise partners
- Establish and lead core operating rhythms, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and KPI/OKR tracking
- Monitor progress against commitments; proactively surface risks, dependencies, and trade offs, and drive resolution
- Own briefing, preparation, and follow through for the SSO leaders, requiring close engagement across SSO and the broader enterprise
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment of messaging across leadership audiences and stakeholder groups
- Facilitate dialogue, challenge thinking, and guide alignment across senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority
- Represent the EVP, SSO in enterprise forums as appropriate, ensuring context, intent, and decisions are accurately conveyed
- Support a steady cadence of leadership meetings, strategy sessions, offsites, and town halls for the SSO organization
- Strengthen culture, engagement, and clarity through intentional leadership communications and operating practices
- Lead high priority, cross functional initiatives and transformation efforts aligned to the SSO strategy

- Strong inter-personal skills with ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and collaborate internally and externally, at all seniority levels.
- Trusted partner who can manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality; ability to understand unspoken sensitivities and exercise absolute discretion is a must.
- Appetite for dynamic working environment; comfort with ambiguity, ability to flex as needed.

- Strong written and oral communication skills a must. Ability to zoom in / out on topics, then translate into written materials that enable a senior executive to understand and action. Standout content/storytelling skills (meetings, email, presentations – including leveraging data).
