Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and be able to work effectively in a construction site environment. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Perform welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and other techniques as required.
- Fabricate ductwork and sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Utilize plasma cutting tools for precise cuts and shaping of materials.
- Thread pipes and ensure proper fittings for various projects.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Operate tools such as micrometers to measure dimensions accurately.
- Rig materials safely for lifting and positioning during the welding process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a construction site setting.
- Proficiency in FCAW, plasma cutting, ductwork fabrication, and sheet metal work.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
