POSITION TITLE: Non-Profit Driver
REPORTS TO: Managing Director (MD)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Non-Profit Driver (NPD) is an hourly position at Master Provisions (MP). The NPD is primarily responsible to drive and assist the Managing Director (MD) with assigned tasks to strengthen the Non-Profit Operations team. The NPD schedule is flexible to meet needs of the ministry.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of MP operations and transportation work.
- Good listening, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience within the industry or as a driver of non-CDL trucks.
- Ability to use a mobile device for real time communication and schedule coordination.
- DOT Medical Card
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Handle day-to-day tasks assigned by the MD.
- Assist in maintenance and coordination of warehouse activities.
- Promoting a strong Christian culture focusing on collaborative partnerships.
- Other duties as determined by the MD.
WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Attend weekly Wednesday Operations meeting.
- Perform occasional lifting and complete physically demanding work, including loading and unloading pallets from trucks.
- Ability to work in walk-in refrigerator and freezer areas for limited periods of time.
WORKING HOURS
- Work up to 40 hours/week driving for nonprofit activities based on medical approval.
- Occasional Saturday work required, or occasional weekend work required
- Flexible scheduling with MD to work up to 40 hours per week.
