What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at MASTER ELITE SPICE INC?
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling customer orders or internal requests by picking, staging, and shipping or transferring products. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Associates will be assigned orders or requests to assemble and stage. Warehouse associates are also responsible for unloading, loading, receiving, shipping, cycle counts, general organizing and upkeep as well as other warehouse functions as assigned. Work shift will be 10:00am - 6:30pm.
Essential Duties:
- Receiving raw materials and ingredients for Elite Spice warehouses
- Pulling, wrapping, labeling, and staging orders or requests as assigned
- Inspecting, unloading and loading trucks for shipping, internal transfers and receiving
- Completing documentation and paperwork accurately
- Operating a forklift in order to move product
- Cycle counts and general warehouse organization and cleaning as needed/assigned
- Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned by supervisor

- Forklift
Physical Demands:
- Sitting constantly
- Standing and Walking frequently
- Lift up to 100 lbs
- Carry up to 50 lbs
- Twisting, Kneeling, Bending occasionally
Environment:
- Occasional exposure to dust, spices, heat, and cold
Qualifications:
- Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks
- Ability to communicate both written and orally (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work in an interdepartmental team setting and independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Pleasant and positive attitude
- Experience operating a forklift / Willing to be certified and trained as a forklift operator
Salary : $20 - $23
