What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at MASTER ELITE SPICE INC?
Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility to support production and warehouse operations. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to transport materials, load/unload shipments, and support production lines

Store and retrieve products using FIFO and inventory procedures

Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues

Maintain accurate inventory records

Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety guidelines

Keep work areas clean and organized
Work Environment:

Day Shift: 6am-3pm, Monday through Friday

Food manufacturing setting with exposure to spices and varying temperatures

PPE is required in most manufacturing areas and can be provided as needed (hairnet, gloves, safety gear)

Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and equipment operation
Qualifications:

Must pass forklift certification, previous/recent certification is a plus!

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
