Clothing Presser

Overview

Master Cleaners, a fourth-generation, family-owned dry cleaning business, has proudly served the community for many years. We are dedicated to delivering consistent, high-quality garment care while fostering strong relationships with our customers and their families. We are currently seeking a reliable Clothing Presser to join our production team. Prior experience is not necessary; we value dependability and a strong work ethic.

Wages:

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. As employees become more experienced and demonstrate greater speed, consistency, and skill in pressing, they may earn closer to $20.00 per hour.

Hours:

The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 a.m. The end of the workday varies depending on the amount of production scheduled, though most shifts are finished between noon and 2:00 p.m. Employees in this position typically work approximately 18 to 20 hours per week.

Duties

• Operate pressing equipment to ensure all clothing items are pressed neatly, accurately, and efficiently
• Inspect their own work for quality and proper finishing
• Follow safety procedures when handling pressing machines and other equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Assist with other garment care tasks as needed to support the production team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Dependability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling delicate fabrics and pressing tools
• Willingness to learn and follow specific pressing techniques and safety guidelines
• Strong work ethic with a focus on quality workmanship
• No prior experience required, but a positive attitude and reliability are highly valued
