Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sumner, WA, for Traffic Technicians and Flaggers. Responsibilities include managing traffic control for construction zones, setting up and removing traffic control devices, directing traffic to ensure the safety of workers and the public, and complying with all safety regulations. Technicians and flaggers will coordinate closely with team members to ensure efficient workflows while adapting to on-site needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in traffic control, flagging, or related field
- Ability to set up and manage traffic control equipment, including signs, cones, and barriers
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to work zones and traffic management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in coordinating with crew members and the public
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- A valid flagger certification or ability to obtain one promptly
- Physical fitness to lift equipment and stand for prolonged periods
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional certifications in construction safety are a plus
