What You'll Do
As a Fiber Technician, you will:
- Install, route, and terminate fiber-optic cables for residential customers
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
- Test and verify network performance and connectivity
- Troubleshoot and resolve service issues when needed
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service during each appointment
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently
- Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times
Training Program Includes

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should:
- Be able to lift and carry between 60 and 80 pounds
- Be comfortable working on ladders up to 36 feet high
- Enjoy working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous fiber, telecommunications, cable, satellite, construction, or installation experience is helpful but not required
