Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, including proper food handling and kitchen hygiene practices
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and condiments regularly to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Assist with food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food storage procedures
- Support team members with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring a tidy environment for both staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in retail or grocery stores is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
