Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food prep zones through bussing and sanitation practices.
• Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, managing food storage, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities like serving customers, food prep, and cleaning to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
• Experience in the food industry, retail math, or grocery store environments will be advantageous for understanding sales and basic math calculations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
