Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and experienced Licensed P&C Insurance Agent to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping clients find the right coverage to protect what matters most.
In this role, you will work with both new and existing clients, identify their insurance needs, provide customized coverage solutions, and develop lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outside sales, networking, community outreach, referrals, and other lead-generation activities
- Work with prospective and existing clients to identify their personal and commercial insurance needs
- Prepare, present, and explain insurance quotes and coverage options
- Recommend appropriate Property & Casualty insurance products based on each client's individual needs
- Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients to close sales and retain business
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Negotiate coverage options, premiums, and policy terms while meeting company goals
- Maintain accurate customer information, policy documentation, and sales records
- Assist clients with questions, policy changes, and other insurance-related needs
- Utilize company leads, marketing resources, referrals, and personal networking to grow your book of business
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales and service process
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Previous insurance sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven success in insurance sales, outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, or customer acquisition
- Ability to explain insurance coverage clearly and confidently
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to earn and succeed
- Comfortable generating business through networking and community outreach
- Organized and able to effectively manage multiple prospects and clients
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Bilingual/multilingual candidates are highly preferred
