Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors as needed to uphold safety and aesthetics.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
- Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold quality standards.
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control, scheduling, and training new team members to foster a cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor careband industrial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service principles to deliver exceptional cleanliness with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure no area is overlooked.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving heavy items when necessary.
