Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Supervisor to assist with the preparation, service, and delivery of meals within our facility. This role includes supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all food safety standards are consistently met.
Schedule
Part-Time, Every Other Weekend
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, labeling, and dating of items
- Serve and transport meals to residents in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Complete food temperature logs and required documentation accurately
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and appropriately
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and designated department spaces
- Store food and supplies properly at the end of each shift
- Communicate any issues or unusual concerns to the Food Service Director or Chef
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic math skills required
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling techniques, and sanitation practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with direction and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, patience, and strong team mentality required
