Chief Clinical Dietitian

Massapequa Center is Hiring a Chief Clinical Dietitian for our skilled nursing facility in Amityville, NY

In this role, you’ll manage a team of dietitians and work alongside an interdisciplinary team to ensure our residents receive the highest level of nutritional care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Nutrition Services Department

• Supervise clinical dietitians and ensure nutritional care plans are in place for all residents

• Conduct assessments and create individualized nutrition plans

• Collaborate with physicians on diet modifications and enteral nutrition

• Educate residents and families on dietary needs and nutrition goals

• Provide oversight on food preferences, menu changes, and clinical documentation

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines

Qualifications:

• Credentialed Registered Dietitian or NYS Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist

• 5 years of experience in senior living, hospital, or long-term care

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Working knowledge of tube feeding, clinical nutrition care, and NYS regulations

• EMR proficiency and documentation experience
