We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets through effective team management and motivation.
- Oversee employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct interviews and assist in recruiting new team members.
- Manage inventory control processes including stocking, pricing, and purchasing.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and payroll management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
- Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or as an Assistant Manager with strong leadership capabilities. Prior Spa experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in inventory management and bookkeeping tasks.
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sales management, including negotiation techniques and pricing strategies.
