Position Overview
The Spa Sales and Wellness Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional guest experience, and supporting overall retreat operations. This position blends hands-on guest engagement with team leadership, operational management, and business growth initiatives.
This role sets the standard for service excellence, conversion performance, and team culture while actively contributing to revenue growth through memberships, retail, Elevations, and wellness services.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service and achieving individual and team sales goals.
- Meet and exceed key performance benchmarks, including:
- 25–35% conversion rate
- 33% Elevation performance
- Educate guests and team members on services, products, and wellness programs.
- Promote the benefits of regular massage, skincare, and advanced wellness treatments.
- Drive revenue through memberships, retail, gift certificates, and add-on services.
- Analyze KPIs (conversion, rebooking, retail attachment) to identify opportunities and improve performance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop Lifestyle and Wellness Consultants through daily feedback and structured meetings.
- Conduct shift huddles, one-on-one coaching, and team meetings to drive engagement and accountability.
- Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs.
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture focused on guest service and sales excellence.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
- Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and manage offboarding processes.
Operations & Business Management
- Support all aspects of daily retreat operations in partnership with the Regional Retreat Director.
- Ensure accountability for sales, cash handling, inventory, and reporting.
- Act as a keyholder and maintain smooth daily operations, including opening/closing procedures.
- Monitor scheduling efficiency for both front desk and service providers.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation (shift reports, performance tracking, etc.).
- Ensure consistent check-in/check-out procedures and optimal guest flow.
Service Delivery & Wellness Oversight
- Oversee service quality and ensure adherence to all guest care and safety protocols.
- Support and promote advanced wellness services, including Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT / Ballancer®Pro).
- Ensure proper execution of services, including consultations and consent forms.
- Guide team in recommending Elevations and enhancements to improve guest outcomes.
Business Growth & Marketing
- Partner with leadership to implement strategies for revenue growth and client retention.
- Lead grassroots marketing, community outreach, and local partnerships.
- Lead event planning, promotions, and social media initiatives.
- Drive awareness and engagement through consistent communication and marketing support.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of sales, retail, or wellness management experience.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Minimum 3 years of strong leadership experience with coaching and team development.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using metrics and reporting tools to drive performance.
- Proficiency with computers and standard business software.
- Industry experience preferred.

Availability
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and opening/closing shifts. Required to work Thursday and Friday closing shifts until 9:00pm, Saturday closing shift until 7:00pm, Sunday closing shift until 6:00pm.
