Qualifications Include
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with successful licensure.
- Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Possess or acquire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required based on the role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maneuvering patients.
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient services.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain professional accountability.
- Perform physical duties including bending, stooping, and lifting as necessary.
