Role: Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) in Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Provide expert nursing practice, evaluate and implement evidence-based education, mentor staff, lead committees, ensure regulatory compliance, develop orientation and competency programs, facilitate courses like ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC, support staff development from novice to expert, coordinate patient and staff education, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Registered nurse with a BSN, minimum of 3 years recent ED clinical experience, strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of adult learning principles, and current licensure and certifications (BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC). Preferably hold a master's in education and certification as CEN.
Key Duties: Serve as a clinical resource, lead staff education, facilitate orientation and competency assessments, develop educational materials, coordinate training on new equipment and policies, evaluate practice standards, and support professional growth of nursing staff.
