Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff professionally.
- Register patients for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and payments.
- Input and update patient information accurately in the hospital system.
- Provide and ensure completion of necessary forms.
- Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with staff to facilitate smooth patient intake.
- Answer and direct calls as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare registration or medical administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
