Radiation Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Radiation Therapy [ARRT-T] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred Radiation Therapist [Temporary License - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Department of Public Health-Radiation Control Program preferred
Experience
Clinical internship in a major cancer center is preferred
Experience with modern linear accelerators, simulation and verify / record systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- May be required to demonstrate basic knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas and programs.
- Specialty Rotations, will include these additional responsibilities.
- Understands the function of all equipment, accessories, treatment policies, procedures, and protocols and applies knowledge appropriately.
- Performs daily QA measures to ensure proficient operation of all imaging and treatment equipment.
- Works flexible shifts depending on patient volume and departmental needs.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, including the ability to use appropriate judgment, independent thinking, and creativity when resolving issues and conflict.
