Job Summary
Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.

We are currently hiring a per diem Central Sterile Tech to work on site at our Salem NH location! Shifts available are 10 am to 6 pm or 12 pm to 8 pm. Our Central Sterile Techs play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients!

Job Summary
Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
- Processes specialty and general instruments.
- Resets instrument sets without error.
- Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
- Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
- Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
- Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.
