Job Summary
Responsible for providing nursing care to patients in their homes.Essential Functions
- Assessing patients' health status and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising registered nurse or physician.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Providing wound care and dressing changes.
- Performing basic diagnostic tests such as blood pressure checks and glucose monitoring.
- Educating patients and their families on their medical conditions and self-care techniques.
