Job Summary
The Perianesthesia Assistant Nurse Director directs, plans, and coordinates service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. This role may also provide direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff
- Foster a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff
- Coordinate unit activities with other hospital departments
- Develop and implement staffing plans
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required)
- Master’s degree in nursing (required)
- Relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience
- 2–3 years of nursing experience (required)
- 1–2 years of nursing leadership experience (preferred)
- Current PACU experience (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) – state license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (preferred)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Knowledge of care requirements across various patient age groups

Compensation
Pay Range: $118,435.20 – $172,234.40 annually
