Role Summary
Masquerade NYC, an immersive performance on 57th Street is seeking skilled Guest Relations candidates to join our team in part-time positions on this exciting immersive endeavor. Successful candidates will thrive in a high-energy, high-volume, extraordinarily unique customer service setting. Excellent customer care and generous disposition are a must for our immersive events. Experience with front of house, ushering, coat check, box office / check in, food and beverage / nightlife service and an understanding of immersive theatre is desirable. Join us as we take our guests on an exploration of an impassioned story and immerse yourself in an extraordinary artistic experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations Team members will provide front-facing, kind, empathetic, and professional customer service for all guests.
- Positional Responsibilities will include - Immersed Ushering, Accessibility, and Audience Experience Service. Check In and Coat Check Teams. Merchandise Sales.
- Guest Relations Team Members will be trained in safety responsibilities, and all team members will be certified as an F-03 Fire Guard.
Qualifications
- Confident communicator with a kind, empathetic, guest first attitude.
- Flexibility with ever-evolving team roles.
- Familiarity with Immersive Experiences.
- Ability to commit to a part-time New York City Theatre schedule including weekend and evening hours.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to engage with audience in an immersive theatrical setting and perform necessary physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various theatrical conditions, including outdoors, highly theatrical lighting, laser, strobe, sfx, and haze effects, and high-noise environments.
- Guest Relations Team members may work in proximity to alcohol service.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly - $25/hour
- State Mandated Sick Pay
