Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (PT) 3:00PM - 11:30PM Shift and Every other Weekend

Position Overview

The Masonic Home of Virginia is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) serving more than 150 residents in Henrico, Virginia. We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience, although experience in healthcare and a general knowledge of nursing care will be considered.

Previous experience in long-term care, a continuing care retirement community, or working with older adults is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with residents, staff, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare with at least 1 year in long-term care experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area and throughout the Home to accomplish tasks
• Express and exchange ideas via spoken word conveying information to others in an audible, accurate, and quick manner
• Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
• Visual acuity to read, prepare, and analyze
• Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force on occasions
• Subject to temperature changes, but is generally not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as the work is predominantly inside

Licensure

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions

• CPR certified
