Position Summary

The Senior Living Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and prospective residents within the senior living community. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming environment, coordinating resident requests, supporting resident engagement, and assisting with administrative and operational functions.

The Concierge acts as an ambassador of the community by promoting a positive resident experience, maintaining professional relationships, and ensuring residents receive timely assistance and support. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, sound judgment, discretion, and a commitment to hospitality and service excellence.

Core Job Responsibilities

Resident Services & Hospitality

  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and guests.
  • Greet residents and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries, concerns, requests, and service needs.
  • Assist residents with scheduling transportation, appointments, activities, and community services.
  • Coordinate and track resident service requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain a visible and approachable presence throughout the community.
  • Provide information regarding community programs, amenities, events, and services.

Resident Relations

  • Build positive relationships with residents and families.
  • Assist in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and resident-centered environment.
  • Support resident satisfaction initiatives and service excellence programs.
  • Identify resident concerns and communicate them to appropriate departments.
  • Follow up on resident requests and concerns to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Assist with resident move-ins and orientation processes as assigned.

Marketing, Tours & Community Outreach

  • Coordinate and schedule tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Welcome prospective residents and visitors.
  • Assist with marketing events, open houses, and community outreach.
  • Prepare welcome packets and informational materials.
  • Collaborate with Admissions and leadership to support occupancy goals.
  • Represent the Adult Home professionally in the community.

Administrative Support

· Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming telephone calls, visitors, residents, families, and guests, providing courteous and professional customer service.

· Manage front desk operations, including maintaining visitor logs, resident directories, and other departmental records.

· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, deliveries, and other correspondence.

· Prepare and distribute resident correspondence, notices, newsletters, announcements, and other communication materials as assigned.

· Provide administrative support through data entry, document preparation, record maintenance, special projects, and other departmental functions.

· Maintain the confidentiality of resident, employee, and organizational information in accordance with organizational policies.

Event & Activity Support

  • Promote resident activities, events, and programs.
  • Assist with event registration, reservations, and communication.
  • Support special events, celebrations, community meetings, and resident functions.
  • Coordinate hospitality arrangements for community events and visitors.

Safety & Security

  • Monitor visitor access and ensure adherence to community security procedures.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly.
  • Assist during emergencies according to community emergency preparedness plans.
  • Maintain awareness of resident well-being and report concerns appropriately.

Community Representation

  • Promote a positive image of the community at all times.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness in all interactions.
  • Serve as a resource for residents, families, vendors, and community partners.
  • Support occupancy and resident retention initiatives through exceptional service delivery.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational needs.

Required Education & Experience

  • Education High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, Human Services, or related field preferred.

Experience

· Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, hospitality, senior living, healthcare, hotel, reception, or administrative experience preferred.

· Experience working with older adults strongly preferred.

· Experience in a senior living, assisted living, independent living, healthcare, or hospitality environment preferred.

· Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
