Overview
The R&D Technician supports the development and improvement of nutraceutical products such as dietary supplements, functional foods, and wellness formulations. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, formulation trials, ingredient testing, and documentation to ensure products meet regulatory, quality, and efficacy standards. The technician collaborates with formulators, quality assurance, and production teams to bring innovative health solutions to market. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in an R&D or laboratory setting within nutraceuticals, food, or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
· Knowledge of dietary supplement regulations (FDA, DSHEA) and GMP practices.
· Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and formulation principles.
· Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
