Our Merchandising Intern is designed to immerse you in the real world of merchandising- from vendor partnerships to assortment planning. As the Mason Merchandising Intern, you will assist the Buying/Merchandising Team in curating the exciting selection and recommendation of assortment in products for our catalog and e-commerce brands, including Stoneberry and Massey's. You'll gain hands-on experience in Direct-to-Consumer retail and learn what it takes to bring products from concept to customer in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, values and corporate goals.

- Assist in developing recommendations for apparel products for inclusion in the various sales vehicles that reflect consumer wants.
- Assist in conducting analysis and develop strategies related to market trends, product life cycle and catalog and internet merchandising.
- Assist in the selection of vendors for branded and create products that align with our goals for price, margin, quality and delivery.
- Assist buyers with product development to develop products that meet merchandise plans for catalog and internet
- Attend vendor meetings to see product development in action
- Shadow experienced buyers and understand how assortment decisions are made then assist in final project recommendations
- Participate in "Style Outs" to review seasonal product selections
- Assist in web and catalog assortment planning and maintenance
- Contribute to competitive pricing reporting and analysis
- Support private brand growth initiatives
- Provide input into product pricing.
- Run and organize pricing reports
- Help track product development timelines and milestones
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Prepare catalog pagination (the sequence of numbers assigned to pages in a book or periodical) for each "book" and assist in review of catalog layouts and photography.
