- Promote, implement, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Assist with projects and help set objectives for the Fulfillment center.
- Assist in the leadership and guidance of the designated Fulfillment Center staff.
- Collaborate with the Fulfillment leaders to continuously improve processes.
- Assist in one or more of the following: the overall inbound transportation scheduling, labor scheduling, inventory control, inbound receiving and storage, and outbound pick and pack operations, or returns processing
- Support the development of employees with an emphasis on teambuilding, communication, performance, accountability, and positive employee relations.
- Maintain physical conditions of the warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair.
- Assist in the new staff orientation, development, and training.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Monitor department performance and productivity standards.
- Assist in monitoring quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of products.

- Attend all department and company meetings as required.
- Preferred: Oracle EBS, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two to five years of progressively responsible fulfillment center or warehouse experience.
- Experience supervising in a union environment preferred.
- Requires continuous standing and frequent walking.
- Requires frequent twisting, stooping/bending at the waist and squatting.
- Requires normal hearing and sight on a continuous basis.
- Requires frequent reaching above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders.
- Potential exposure to varying seasonal temperatures.
- Ability to manipulate objects on a continuous basis with one and/or both hands.
- Ability to frequently push, carry and pull up to 15 pounds, with occasional heavy pushing and pulling of fully loaded carts and palletized items up to 50 pounds.
