Logistics Specialist Strong Organizational and Scheduling

Job Overview

Mason Brothers Company is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Specialist to help coordinate the movement of products into, thru, and out of our distribution operation.

This position plays an important role in keeping our supply chain moving efficiently. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with our transportation, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and operations teams to coordinate inbound freight, outbound deliveries, and day-to-day logistics activities.

We are looking for someone who understands that successful logistics is more than moving trucks—it is making sure the right product is in the right place at the right time while communicating effectively when plans change.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and schedule inbound freight and delivery appointments with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.

· Monitor inbound shipments and communicate delays, changes, shortages, or other issues that may affect warehouse operations.

· Assist with coordinating outbound delivery routes and schedules to support timely and efficient customer deliveries.

· Work closely with drivers, transportation personnel, warehouse supervisors, and other departments to resolve scheduling and delivery issues.

· Coordinate and prioritize warehouse activity with inbound and outbound transportation needs.

· Communicate changes in delivery schedules, appointments, product availability, and other logistics information to the appropriate departments.

· Maintain accurate logistics, shipment, appointment, and delivery records.

· Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, scheduling, product flow, and communication between departments.

· Troubleshoot day-to-day logistics problems and help develop practical solutions that keep freight and product moving.

· Perform additional logistics and operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, warehousing, inventory control, supply chain, or a related field.

· A working understanding of inbound and outbound transportation processes.

· Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust quickly when schedules or circumstances change.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work effectively with drivers, warehouse employees, carriers, customers, and management.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

· Proficiency with computers and common business software; experience with transportation, warehouse, inventory, or ERP systems is preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
