Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks-electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks in a cold storage or warehouse environment.
Temp to Hire-1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm$18.00
2nd shift-2:30-to 11:00 or until done-$18.00
3rd shift-19.00
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily PIT inspection forms
- Load and unload trailers as assigned
- Process and complete all documentation for inbound/outbound shipments
- Inbound/Outbound Trailer Inspection Forms
- Load Sheets
- Receiving Tallies
- Verify pallet counts and ensure accuracy (quantity, item code, lot code, pallet ID)
- Inspect pallets for damage and report issues
- Place products in correct freezer locations based on size/weight
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and freezer areas
- Support production with materials as needed
- Assist with daily cycle counts and location verifications
- Organize warehouse to accommodate incoming materials
- Participate in all required training (safety, quality, HR)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be literate and have basic computer knowledge
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a freezer environment
- Ability to stand, lift, and stoop as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to be part of a team and demonstrate team effort
