Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys figuring out how things work, building equipment from the ground up, and solving technical problems?

We are hiring an experienced Development Engineering Technician II–III to work directly with engineering teams supporting new product development, prototype builds, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, R&D Technician, Prototype Technician, Equipment Technician, or Test Technician who wants more than repetitive production work.

You'll have the opportunity to work on new and developing equipment, troubleshoot real technical challenges, and play an important role in turning engineering concepts into working systems.

What You'll Do

• Build and assemble prototype electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly.
• Complete electrical wiring, wire routing, and connections.
• Install and route pneumatic and fluidic tubing and components.
• Set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related problems.
• Perform functional and verification testing using engineering test plans.
• Assist with equipment repairs, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Support the installation and qualification of new equipment.
• Work side-by-side with engineers during prototype builds and development activities.
• Document test results, equipment setup, troubleshooting activities, and findings.
• Help improve build instructions, test procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and basic machine-shop equipment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Engineering Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, R&D Technician, Prototype Technician, Test Technician, Equipment Technician, or similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and mechanical systems.
• Experience with pneumatics and/or fluidics is highly desirable.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineers and technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Compensation

$28.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience and technical skill level.
